Salvage of the MV Georgic

MV GEORGIC - RECOVERY 1941-1942
B&C 104 Jun 05 reported on the bombing off Suez in Jul 1941 of the MV Georgic. It was an account from Ian Hill in Oz, told by his father Oliver Charles Hill.
The ‘Meccano Magazine’ and the ‘Engineer’ both published extensive accounts of the salvage of the Georgic in Jun 1945 and Oct 1944.
